Let me put it to you this way. As with any addiction or habit that may not be there greatest for us – it may take a week or so of withdrawal before your brain stops telling you to go for the ‘food source’ that you have for so long! But who can’t get through a week or two in favor of a longer, more energetic, and more fulfilled life?
After that’s over, the fact is, CLEAN eating is not a deprivation diet. Remember, it’s a lifestyle. The guideline is to eat 5-6 times a day and to be aware of portions (3 meals and 2-3 snacks). It’s about making smart choices of the food nature intended for us – sans chemicals, preservatives, hormones, pesticides, and other manmade stuff! It’s about educating ourselves about food and not leaving it to the big food manufacturer’s marketing departments!
So no. You won’t be hungry if you begin to eat a clean food diet. At the same time, start to look at colorful and organic fruits and vegetables as your medicine chest. Most of what we need, is right there.
