The New York Giants Are Over the Hill

Yep!  As expected, today, the New York Football Giants took a stand for the good of the team they have been working so hard to recreate this offseason, and despite the great player he is on the field, they have decided to waive Safety, Will Hill.  After so many chances, drug suspensions and waiting, and hoping the excuses would stop, the Giants organization has released the man that continues to plague the team (and his life) with poor choices.  There is no question in my mind, that despite his skill, this bold move makes the TEAM stronger.

Once said eloquently by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:

One man can be a crucial ingredient on a team, but one man cannot make a team.”

I say in turn, however, that one man can take a whole team down.  Any team is only as strong as its weakest link.  For me, I am glad we can put this behind us.  I sincerely hope that Will Hill gets the help he needs to make new and more positive choices in the future.

And with that I say – to be ALL IN, every player, every coach, and every fan must be ALL IN.

And now:  GO GIANTS!  ALL IN for 2014!  Let’s do this thing!
